The Full Story
Chieftain PowerPlus Dark Horse, blacked out for battle.
Overview
The Chieftain PowerPlus Dark Horse runs the same liquid-cooled PowerPlus 112 that took the 2024 King of the Baggers title, sending 122 hp and 181.4 Nm through a sleek, fork-mounted fairing that’s been reworked to look smaller, lighter and more compact than the bike underneath. Inverted forks, radial Brembo brakes and a gunfighter-style two-up seat give it real presence, while remote-locking saddlebags hold 68+ litres of weatherproof storage for the days the ride runs longer than planned. Keyless ignition, a push-button windshield and a 7-inch Ride Command display with Apple CarPlay handle the everyday convenience, and rider-assist tech, from blind spot warning to electronically linked brakes, comes standard with the 112 engine. Finished in Black Smoke, Black Crystal or Chalk, with every bright surface blacked out to match.
